You can just about make out the icecream van in the car park on the A39 - it was well supported by the riders and crews on both Day 1 and Day 2!
Halfway at Malmsmead was a peaceful place to be - the pasties from the cafe there were great too!

Pebble thinks she is going to have a piece of my pasty ... but she has another think coming!!

Oblivious to the forthcoming disruption of their day, these sheep were 'safely grazing' up on the moor early on Day 1

Waiting to start in the Pleasure Ride on Sunday

Well wrapped-up - it was chilly and damp!

The farriers (Andrew Saunders, James Hazell and Matt Smith) were kept busy with the pre-vetting farrier inspection and subsequently with an unusually high number of shoes needing to be fitted.

The vetting area all set up with dressage boards - some of us thought this might prove a bit scary for endurance horses ... but we were proved wrong!

Abigail Taylor and Delorto Zaranz (Class 1) and Heather Whiteley with More Confusion in Class 2

Mary Korn and Mister Mylo - the crews were all ready with icecreams for their riders at the car park up above Porlock

Gill Talbot and Malabar Storm (2), Alison House and Aberllwyd Briar Rose (3) and Jill Semmens with Evermore Exciting (1)
